Sony Vice President Believes that iPhone Will Not Meet Player's Satisfaction
Recently, the argument and concern around sony PSPhone are more and more. After Engadget in the first time made the picture of PSPhone's real machine public, Sony denied it immediately. But recently, SONY U.S. market senior vice President Dille Peter's speech in an interview with CNN is worth our thinking. He said that PSP should add the phone's function.
Dille said that despite the PSP has Wifi functions, but now many players who hope to experience online games still can't use Wifi to connect to the internet. So Dille said that PSP should add the phone's function. It will be a right choice to use the telephone's wireless network for PSP offering online service.
But this idea was spoke out at the sensitive time when PSPhone was leaked out. Many market analysts said this could be Sony's cues for PSPhone, after all current PSPhone will be designed based on first generation PSP. The PSP that add the phone's function should be the design idea of that kind of PSPhone.
At the same time Dille also criticized the mobile game represented by iPhone are those which can just kill player's time and actually and most players are not satisfied with that kind of games. Sony's criticism for the iPhone is obvious based on its confidence to PSPhone games.
Although SONY did not formally give comments to this PSPhone, the related PSPhone overview has already been very clear. PSPhone's games might be able to be compatible with some PSP games, but no longer little games just like iPhone.
PSPhone is really a good idea. And if it can be used in the near future, I need not to purchase a phone alone since I only need to purchase a PSPhone and then I can play wonderful games as well.
