NETGEAR RangeMax Wireless-N?
I'm thinking of buying a wi-fi router for my home. The main idea is to share the network connection between my PC and laptops 3. I want to share between two floors .. I have network connectivity and 4 th floor and want to share in laptops the 5 .. floor height is approx. 14 '(14 feet) and the building is concrete and stone age .. I tried with lniksys router in my office. I had to keep the router on the glass window on the fourth floor. in the fifth floow, I have only signals near the window with a single bar. so I was thinking of buying Netgear RangeMax Wireless-N. I do not know if it will work or not and whether it is a good series. your suggestions are appreciated. Thanks a million in advance ...
Here's the deal, wireless G, wireless hands beyond N. below ... Additionally, it even goes through walls better. But wireless N is a faster connection (when connected). There are wireless routers N + G. which means both ranges of emissions, but no way they are mixed together to make a better range. Your best bet is to get a good Wireless-G (which I must say that Linksys has become into garbage, so do not the) and get some long-range or high-gain antennas. That will give you further coverage possible. It is not speed, is the distance range covered that you need to worry. People are saying the definitions of the textbooks. straight from school. I'm telling you what's really going to happen. G & I N, both running from the same place (second floor). Wireless N does not work on the first floor, works only in the second. Wireless G works on the first floor and second, a much better range. Is the same as the Netgear RangeMax, and one from AT & T IPFLEX wifi router in my office. Oh yes, we have created throughout Wireless G the store with repeaters and antennas core, N but does not reach the bar code scanners, even with good antennas. I heard that the support to behind the story since 2005 ... not happening. Get the N. evidence, it will not work, then return and get a job G a good antenna on it.
