How come I can not get online with my router Linksys Wireless Broadband?
I have an Ethernet connection and I followed all the steps to configure the wireless broadband linksys WRT54GS router. After that I could not be online on my original laptop and trying to use the radio was very slow. What I can do?
Sounds like you have two issues. 1. The team that does not connect at all. Connect your computer to the router via an Ethernet cable. Turn off the computer and back. This should allow the router to update the IP address of the computer. Verify that you can get on the Internet. If this works, disconnect the Ethernet cable from the computer, enable the wireless function of the computer. Locate the SSID of the router from the list of available wireless connections. Enter the SSID and encryption key (usually found on a label on the bottom of the router). 2. Slow computer connection that connects wirelessly. Clear your browser cache (assuming that is, tools, internet options, browsing history, delete, temporary ..., cookies, history). Move equipment a direct line of sight position in relation to the router. The signal strength should max out. If not try the same with the other computer. If both signals low reading can still be a problem with the Linksys router in contact or exchange the router for a new one. Good luck
