Does the Netgear XE102 Ethernet adapter working with my Xbox 360?

I'm thinking of buying a Netgear XE102 instead of the expensive wireless adapter. The device connects to the wall and uses an ethernet cable to connect to the Xbox console. The same device the other end connects to the router via ethernet cable as well. Will this work or will require software that does not exist?
