Universal serial bus devices are plug & play which by definition means that there is no requirement to shut down and restart your PC to use these devices. The universal serial bus interface was designed to provide a method of connecting different types of devices with a single standard interface socket. Here are some devices that use USB connections:

2 Port KVM with Cables (PS / 2)

This device lets you connect two computers via one output of the console. You can control two computers with one monitor, keyboard and mouse, simply switch between the two computers by pressing a button on the KVM switch. The KVM switch is compatible with the PC that has a PS / 2 port and a VGA port.

54 Mbps Wireless USB LAN Adapter Dongle

This device allows you to add wireless networking capability to your laptop or desktop PC.

Bluetooth USB Dongle (Class 1, 100 m)

This key is used to configure the wireless communication with other devices that are enabled Bluetooth. This Bluetooth USB dongle uses Bluetooth Class 1 technology.
