How I can make a dipole antenna transmitter?
I'm planning on making a dipole antenna transmitter, but simple. Has only to produce waves sufficient to induce electromagnetic currents in another dipole antenna receiver and turn on a light bulb. Like in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4xF1Fq2wB1I This is all I need. But I do not know (for starters) the circuit diagram for the project. I guess the connection of two identical bars of metal standing in line a coil powered by a battery does the job. As in this scheme: http://img688.imageshack.us/img688/7051/antennascheme.png Or connect a capacitor to a coil and then the two metal bars on the sides. No Scheme 2. Just short out a battery with a coil. Kaboom No scheme 3. Just put a short wire to each terminal of a battery. That will not deliver anything. If you just put the battery in series with the inductance and a switch, the close the switch that will delight the series resonant circuit and the oscillation drive the antenna. The resonant frequency matching the dipole, the impedance of the battery, you have to work out. .
