Buying a new wireless router?

I want to buy a new wireless router and/or modem and need some help. I currently have a 1MBps high speed internet service through Verizon. My modem is a Westell 6100 and my router is a Dell TrueMobile 2300. What should I look at as far as buying? Do I need to get a new router AND a modem? Please help.

No, you do not need a new modem. I'd go with a Linksys By CISCO. That's what I have it it has a lot of bang for your buck. For what you should look for, it doesn't entirely matter. Just how far you want it to reach is the only thing that truly varies.
