What is a better Wireless Network connector "USB adapter or PCI card", 10 points?
So, i have to buy a USB adapter or PCI card for my desktop computer and im not sure which one is better.
Like many things with computers the answers is it depends. When you say PCI are you many the new PCIe or are you talking about the older PCI bus? When you say USB do you have USB 1.x or USB 2.0?
PCI
+Equal performance with PCI, PCIe and USB 2.x
+Typicaly Adapter Price is slightly less than a USB Adapter
++An advantage of the PCI and PCIe adpaters is that they are inside your computer so you do not have another cable/device hanging off of your computer
PCIe
+Equal performance with PCI, PCIe and USB 2.x
+Typicaly Adapter Price is slightly less than a USB Adapter
+From a future usability PCIe and USB 2.0 Wireless adapter would be better.

I wrote this from a Wireless G perspective in that scenario USB 2.x and PCIe are equal. if you are looking at a wireless N perspective I feel the PCIe adapter is better.
