How to Replace the Wireless Adapter in an HP company Laptop
A wireless adapter, occasionally known as a wireless network card or WiFi card, is a device that permits a pc to connect to wireless Internet signals. Wireless adapters are typical in laptop computer computers, but some desktops also have wireless adapter cards. If your pc cannot access any wireless networks, your wireless adapter may perhaps be disabled. Enabling a disabled adapter is a uncomplicated process, though you may perhaps have to wait around some time prior to the adapter starts picking up wireless signals again.
Sometimes, after troubleshooting each component of your wireless network, you find the fact that system adapter with the computer alone is to blame. Here's how you can replace it yourself in an HP laptop.
Make certain the computer is turned off. Then unplug it from your wall, and consider out the battery for security precautions.
Remove the keyboard screws on the bottom of the laptop.
Remove the keyboard from your laptop, but you don't have to completely detach the ribbon connector from your method board.
You should see the wireless system adapter linked to the method board from here. You'll notice that it's the detachable system which has two cords hooked into it that equally work their way up in to the screen. Detach people two cords.
Replace the wireless system adapter.
Reconnect people two antenna cables.
Replace the keyboard.
Reattach the screws in the bottom of the laptop.
Turn the computer back again on after replacing the battery and attempt to make use of your wireless system adapter. If all has gone well, glass windows should choose it up and you shouldn't have difficulty connecting for your wireless network.
